In the Spotlight (Ep. 3): Braun Strowman

The 2016 WWE Draft is one of the best things that could happen to most of the superstars on the current main roster. One particular superstar that seen a lot of success from it is Braun Strowman.

After starting out his WWE career as member of the Wyatt Family, Strowman quickly became one of the most dominant superstars in the history of the company. He has been destroying everyone in his path, despite not having won a title yet.

The year he had in 2017 showed how dominant he can be.

On top of eliminating seven men in the 2017 Royal Rumble, Braun Strowman has beaten superstars such as: Sami Zayn, Big Show, Roman Reigns, Kane, and many others.

Unfortunately, Braun wasn't able to have a match on the main card at Wrestlemania 33. Instead, he was put in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, and lost after eliminating most of the competition.

His rivalry with Roman Reigns took place throughout most of the year. Strowman delivered something that most of the WWE Universe wanted; someone that could beat up Roman Reigns week-after-week. Though Roman won the final rivalry match between the two, I truly believe that Braun came out looking the strongest.

Braun would go on to continue his dominance despite being put into the back of a garbage truck at TLC.

He was the first person added to the RAW Survivor Series team by the team captain, Kurt Angle.

Not even a full month into the year, and 2018 has already been good to Braun Strowman.

Two weeks ago on RAW, we saw Braun take out both Brock Lesnar and Kane by causing a truss to crash down on them backstage. This past Monday, he wreaked havoc after Kurt Angle fired him for what he had done the week before. Thank goodness for Stephanie McMahon hiring him back tho.

At the Royal Rumble, Braun will face Kane and Brock for the Universal Championship. I would love to see Braun win, but I wouldn't be surprised if Brock held the title all the way to Wrestlemania.

Even if Braun doesn't win next Sunday, he will still find a way to continue to be the dominant superstar that we've grown to love.

I do believe that 2018 is the year that Braun wins his first title in the WWE because he's earned it.

Stay tough, and stay positive.
